I practiced drawing characters on a 24*24 pixel canvas. A 16*16 pixel canvas is too difficult for me.

I tried to draw a cute female character, but it's not cute. Even a 24*24 pixel canvas seems difficult.

First, I drew the face and eyes. I drew them simply in a square shape. There's a dot that I accidentally made.

Next, I drew the hair. I also added decorations.

Then I drew the top.

Then I drew the skirt and legs.

And I drew the hands. I didn't draw the shoes because the canvas size is small.

Finally, I added simple shading and it's done.

I can also add outlines on a 24*24 pixel canvas.
